Buduy Razom – Building the Future Together

Buduy Razom (Building the Future Together) is an international cooperation project that supports war refugees from Ukraine. The project partners come from Germany, Lithuania, and Estonia. Its aim is to help people who have been forced to leave their home country build a more secure and sustainable life in a new environment. Buduy Razom is not only about providing support in times of crisis, but represents a long-term investment in personal empowerment, community resilience, and social cohesion.

Between 2024 and 2027, Buduy Razom offers comprehensive support that combines practical solutions with human-centred services. At the heart of the project is a multilingual digital mentoring platform, enhanced by an AI-based tool. This platform enables Ukrainian refugees to quickly access essential legal, administrative, and business-related information, while also providing opportunities to connect with mentors and community members. It has become a central support hub, bringing together key resources and helping participants take their first steps in a new country.

In addition, Buduy Razom provides in-depth training programmes in entrepreneurship, labour market integration, and practical skills development, encouraging participants to start their own entrepreneurial journey or find suitable employment. Individual and group-based coaching helps build self-confidence, develop practical solutions, and support economic independence.

An important component of the project is psychological support, which helps participants cope with trauma and stress, restore emotional balance, and build new resilience. Through regular counselling sessions, peer support groups, and emotional well-being workshops, the project supports mental health and long-term integration.

Buduy Razom highlights innovative approaches to the social inclusion of refugees and enables participants to apply their skills and qualifications in their new host country. The project’s combined approach — integrating a digital tool, tailored training, and psychological support — creates a scalable and sustainable model that can be adapted and implemented in other European countries. The ultimate goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment that helps Ukrainian refugees build a stable and successful future in their new home.

The National Foundation of Civil Society (NFCS) contributes to the project as an associate partner, sharing its expertise in social innovation and civil society development. NFCS’s role is to support the substantive development of the project, provide insight into the Estonian context, and facilitate connections between local and international partners in order to create new cooperation opportunities and strengthen networks.
