{"id":6992,"date":"2021-08-26T14:11:50","date_gmt":"2021-08-26T11:11:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kysk.ee\/?page_id=6992"},"modified":"2023-09-01T16:51:21","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T13:51:21","slug":"calls-and-grants","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kysk.ee\/en\/activities\/calls-and-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"Calls and grants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The support programme for non-governmental organizations consists of different support measures described as follows.<br><br><strong>Open calls for proposals<\/strong><br>Announced usually twice a year, open calls focus on raising an NGOs\u2019\u00a0operational capacity. The calls enable the NGOs to state concrete operational capacities that they need to develop in order to become more efficient.\u00a0We have tried several approaches here \u2013 focusing the calls on specific capacities (e.g. leadership and communication capacity building, developing social entrepreneurship and building donation strategies, involving volunteers etc) or letting NGOs define their necessities themselves regarding developing their team, work processes or focusing on achieving economic sustainability.<br><br><strong>Incubation and\u00a0grants for Innovative Solutions (NULA incubator)<\/strong><br>We have created an incubation and funding\u00a0programme for innovative solutions with\u00a0great impact to ciritical problems in the society. First, we hold an open call to select best ideas and teams. The NGOs or teams with the best proposed ideas will go through an\u00a0incubation programme designed to improve their ideas and build them into actually working solutions. Of those, TOP3 solutions are selected and given funding.<br><br><strong>Prizes<\/strong><br>In the beginning of the year, a reward is granted to the best NGO of the previous year. The election of the NGO is organised by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ngo.ee\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Network of Estonian Nonprofit Organizations<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>For more information, contact us at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:kysk@kysk.ee\">kysk@kysk.ee<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The support programme for non-governmental organizations consists of different support measures described as follows.
