Below is an overview of our main grant rounds and programmes. Eligibility criteria, application requirements, and schedules vary by programme and are specified in each call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\">Organisational Development Grants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\"><strong>Development Leap Preparation Grant (AHE)<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">This grant supports civil society organisations in analysing their development needs and preparing for the next stage of growth. It enables organisations to develop a clear action plan or business plan in cooperation with their target groups and stakeholders, often with the support of an external development expert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Target group:<\/strong> Civil society organisations<br><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Strategic planning, readiness for development<br><strong>Timing:<\/strong> Typically announced annually<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\"><strong>Development Leap Grant (AH)<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The Development Leap Grant supports the implementation of organisational development plans. It focuses on strengthening internal capacity in areas such as management, planning, financial sustainability, communication, service development, and operational processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Target group:<\/strong> Civil society organisations<br><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Organisational capacity and long-term sustainability<br><strong>Timing:<\/strong> Typically announced annually<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\">Innovation and Cooperation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\"><strong>Civil Society Innovation Fund (KIF)<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The Civil Society Innovation Fund supports cooperation between communities and local governments. Its aim is to strengthen community-based governance, improve cooperation at the local level, and enhance community safety and resilience through jointly developed solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Target group:<\/strong> Civil society organisations and community initiatives<br><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Community\u2013local government cooperation, innovation<br><strong>Scope:<\/strong> Grants allocated by local government areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\"><strong>Ingenious Solutions Incubator (NULA)<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The Ingenious Solutions Incubator (NULA) supports innovative ideas that address pressing social challenges. Through a multi-stage incubator programme, initiatives are developed from early concepts into impactful and sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">NULA is initiated by NFCS and implemented in cooperation with <strong>Heateo Sihtasutus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Target group:<\/strong> Teams and organisations with innovative social ideas<br><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Social innovation, solution development<br><strong>More information:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nula.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">www.nula.ee<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\">Community and Individual Capacity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\"><strong>Community Leader Scholarship (KES)<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The Community Leader Scholarship supports individuals who wish to contribute actively to the development of their local communities. The scholarship focuses on strengthening leadership skills, knowledge, and long-term engagement, and includes mentoring and cooperation with local partners, including local governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Target group:<\/strong> Private individuals engaged in community development<br><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Leadership, community capacity, personal development<br><strong>Availability:<\/strong> Scholarships awarded since 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\">International Cooperation and European Programmes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\"><strong>International Cooperation Development Grant Rounds<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">These grants support civil society organisations in developing their international cooperation capacity. Funding may be used for learning visits, participation in international networks, or inviting foreign experts to Estonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Target group:<\/strong> Civil society organisations<br><strong>Focus:<\/strong> International cooperation, knowledge exchange<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\"><strong>Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values (CERV) Programme<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">NFCS serves as <strong>Estonia\u2019s official Contact Point<\/strong> for the European Union\u2019s <strong>Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values (CERV)<\/strong> Programme. The programme supports projects that promote EU values, including democracy, fundamental rights, equality, and non-discrimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">NFCS provides information, guidance, and support to organisations interested in applying for CERV funding. The programme can cover up to 90% of eligible project costs, depending on the call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Target group:<\/strong> Civil society organisations and public-interest actors<br><strong>Scope:<\/strong> National and international projects<br><strong>EU budget:<\/strong> \u20ac1.55 billion (2021\u20132027)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-el\">Eligibility and Language Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Most NFCS grant rounds are targeted at organisations and individuals operating in Estonia. International partners are typically involved through cooperation projects rather than as direct applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Detailed application guidelines, timelines, and conditions are usually available in Estonian.
