How to Cooperate With Us

There are several ways to engage and collaborate with the National Foundation of Civil Society (NFCS). We welcome partnerships, initiatives, and contributions that align with our mission to strengthen civil society in Estonia and to promote participation, inclusion, and cooperation.

1. Participate in Our Projects and Programmes

NFCS develops and implements projects and programmes that support civil society development, community resilience, youth engagement, and social innovation. We welcome organisations and partners who wish to contribute their expertise, experience, or networks to ongoing or future initiatives. Current priority areas include:

  • Integration through Community Activities: Partner with us to support integration projects that engage newly arrived immigrants, people with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, and returnees in community-based activities.
  • Increasing Civil Society Impact through Youth Engagement (ESF-SIM Programme): Join our efforts to enhance youth participation, strengthen community resilience, and promote equal opportunities through youth-led initiatives and cooperation with civil society organisations.
  • Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values (CERV) Programme: Collaborate with us to promote fundamental EU rights, democracy, and equality through awareness campaigns, anti-discrimination projects, and capacity-building for civil society organisations.

2. Apply for Grants and Funding

  • Grant Opportunities: NFCS offers various grant rounds, including Development Leap Preparation Grants, Development Leap Grants, Civil Society Innovation Fund, Community Leader Scholarships, and International Cooperation Development Grants.

Most grant rounds are targeted at organisations operating in Estonia. Eligibility criteria and conditions vary by programme and are specified in each call.

3. Partner with Us

We seek strategic partnerships with organisations that share our values and can contribute to strengthening civil society, participation, and cooperation. Partnerships may involve joint projects, co-creation of new approaches, policy development, or international cooperation.

We also collaborate with international organisations and networks whose activities support democratic participation, inclusion, and resilient communities.
