Social Innovation Cooperation Discussed in Cyprus
At the end of April, Marju Mäger and Evelyn Valtin from KÜSK (National Foundation of Civil Society) visited Cyprus and met with representatives of the Organisation for European Programmes and Cultural Relations (OEPCR), the Social Innovation Centre, and AKTI Project and Research Centre. The purpose of the visit was to exchange experiences, identify common interests, and explore opportunities for international cooperation in the fields of social innovation, culture, and environmental sustainability.

KÜSK shared Estonian experience in developing social innovation in Madrid
On 4–5 May 2026, the National Competence Centres Mutual Learning Event titled “Social Innovation Portfolios in Practice: Building Advocacy for Systemic Change” took place in Madrid, Spain. Evelyn Valtin participated in the event and contributed to a panel discussion. The event was organised by the National Competence Centres Working Group under the Community of Practice on Social Innovation and the Transnational Calls Team.

Evelyn Valtin, Project Manager for social innovation activities under the Swiss-Estonian Cooperation Programme measure “Supporting Social Inclusion” at the National Foundation of Civil Society of Estonia, participated as a panelist in the discussion “City for Children and Seniors: Intergenerational Culture in Practice,” sharing insights from Estonia’s experience and initiatives fostering intergenerational connections.
